Coach Ryan is married with four children. His oldest, Andrew, is now a 21 year old junior at Indiana University. Ryan coached Andrew for 10 years in baseball. Ryan has also been involved with softball for the past 13 years in various roles with a few organizations. His oldest daughter Anna opted out of softball and dedicated herself to gymnastics. She now attends Yale University and is a member of their gymnastics team. His 16 year old daughter Lily leads off for Craig Bell on the 16U Indy Dreams team. She also leads off and plays MIF for Cathedral’s Fighting Irish varsity softball team. For the past few years, Ryan has been coaching his youngest daughter Julia in another softball organization and when the opportunity came to join the Indy Dreams under Craig Bell, he and his team manager Todd Gebhart made the move mid-season because they did not want to miss the chance to play for Craig Bell. As Ryan and Todd told their team, Craig Bell is highly accomplished and remains focused on developing college level athletes. With the attention of so many college coaches, he can present opportunities that most organizations simply cannot. This talented 14U team could not be more excited about playing for such a well-respected organization as the Indy Dreams.
